Guest Beds

As we start to welcome guests back into our homes, that includes house guests that need somewhere to spend the night. Why not invest in a new guest bed that suits your home and space and allows your guest to sleep in comfort.

The Classic Day Bed

Day beds have been seen in the spare room for many years. They boast a full-size single mattress, while offering the appearance of seating. Usually, they are framed in three sizes to appear like a sofa when cushions are added.
If you use your spare room other than when guests come to stay, such as a dressing room or office, it can help the room to feel less like a bedroom.
The beautiful appearance of the day bed has meant that we have seen an increase in young girls opting for this style of bed in their bedroom, allowing them to use it as both a bed and seating area to make the space multi-functional.

Hidden Mattress

More often than not, our spare rooms don't always boast the most space. So when we are expecting to house more than one guest at a time, make the most of the space with a single bed, featuring a hidden mattress!
Our beds with hidden mattresses offer the appearance of a divan, or a bed with attractive under-bed storage, however, give the draw a tug and out appears a full-size single mattress.
These beds not only make a great space saver for the spare room but also for children's rooms if they often have sleepovers! Their friends will love the extra bed just for them!

Sofa Beds

Sofa beds were once a staple in any home. Allowing you to have a seating area that can double as a bed for guests. For a period of time, they had been in decline, however, we still think that they are a great and stylish addition to your home, especially if space is tight.

Guest Mattresses

When it comes to getting a mattress to suit your guest bed, it all comes down to how often it will be used and who will be using it. If it is the same person who will be regularly using it, it might be worth speaking to them to find the best type of firmness for them. This can mean they have a good nights sleep every time that they stay. If it will be many different people, or you are just getting it as a "Just in case" bed, opt for something like a firm, pocket sprung, as this will retain its shape when different guests have used it. As with your own mattress, we often say that you get what you pay for, so if the mattress will be used often, spending slightly more will allow you to keep the mattress comfortable for longer. Alternatively, if it is just in case, check out our cheaper range, it can always be changed later if circumstances change!
